Theme and Description Based on Kimball's youth curriculum You the Creator, this program gives adults an opportunity to unleash and appreciate their creative energies. Each session is divided into enjoyment, empowerment, and enlightenment activities. Based on the belief that everyone is creative, it emphasizes the relationship of anxiety and creativity, the idea of flow, the religious implications of creativity, and the idea of a universal creative force.

Leader Training No special training or background is required. Familiarity with the youth curriculum You the Creator is necessary. co-leadership and good facilitation skills are recommended.

Leader Preparation 2 to 4 hours per session to read background and gather materials

Strengths Offers a very engaging, creative variety of activities Contains a strong religious and reflective dimension culminates in worship and celebration. Includes well organized sessions. Is playful and fun. Nurtures the creative self.

Limitations Requires gathering many art and other materials
