Lesson Number: General

What we liked about the curriculum:
The sessions are really quite easy to facilitate. We had wonderful conversations.
What we didn't like about the curriculum:
After the recent shooting events, we would like to see another chapter on helping our children treat kids who hold different beliefs and/or are "others". I thought that the session nuclear weapons was outdated. So I went home and asked my kids, 11 & 14, what they think of when I say, "nuclear." Surprisingly, to me, both immediately and separately responded, "bombs." These kids hardly miss a Simpsons (not my idea of fine TV but Daddy loves it. We all make compromises in a family.) - I expected them to answer, "nuclear power plants."
Would also like to have a resource to get the movie or a couple of alternative movies. We used the Butter Battle Book and the Hiroshima book. It worked nicely for our time frame but the video might have been better.

Recommendations for other users:
I'd like to see a project in the end of the 6 sessions.
