What we liked about the curriculum:
 In Our Hands worked well for 1st through 12th at Reston last year;

What we didn't like about the curriculum:
 my problem with it is diffeent number of sessions in each book, and not dealing with same topic same days. Junior High is out of print, also. - posted in behalf of Betty Jo Middleton

What we liked about the curriculum:
 I like the "In Our Hands: A Peace & Social Justice Curriculum" series. One of the reasons I like it is because there are only about a dozen or a dozen and a half lessons in the book. This allows a much slower pace
(sometimes taking 2 or 3 weeks for a single lesson) than many of the curriculum that have over 20 lessons. It also has allowed us to add our own stuff without having to decide which lessons will be skipped. Another reason I like it is because it includes a number of role playing
exercises that give the kids an opportunity to practice what they have been talking about. In fact, when we do Children's Sunday, I will be scripting together a number of role plays for the kids to do as part of the service.

What we didn't like about the curriculum:
 The problem we have run into is that the ages that the curriculum is developed for are right on target. We have a small Sunday School with only 2 classes (ages 3-8 and ages 8-12). I am using the first 2 versions and have found that the younger kids in each of my groups are often missing the
point.
