chalice logo Bookmark instructions

Bookmarks can be printed and used as you like. They're great for teacher gifts or hand-outs during orientation. Three formats are available: Gif image file (viewable in web browser), Word Doc (click to download), and PDF (click to either download or view in your browser depending on your browser settings). You may first like to consider these instructions.:

They will look best in color, so you will need a color printer. If you do not have a color printer, you could try them in black-and-white or distribute our flier instead.

Due to differences in software and printers, a test print on plain paper is recommended to check for quality of appearance and layout. Once you've had a successful test, you can use special card stock (glossy white would look nice). You may want to cover your bookmark with clear contac paper or laminate it. Cut the bookmarks apart. You can also punch a hole in the top of the bookmark and top it off with a ribbon or yarn (do this by measuring the yarn or ribbon doubled over to the desired length, cut, keep it folded threading both ends through the hole, then put both ends through the loop made at the fold and pull the ends through).

You can give them as gifts to teachers and other RE volunteers, at the beginning of the year possibly during your teacher installation service would be a good time, though anytime would also be appropriate.
